♦ Trumps of Albion

A card-driven multiplayer RPG

TrumpsofAlbion

The Dealer sits at the edge of Britain and slides you a hand. Travel Albion, fight with cards, and hunt the Trumps — the legends whose torn pages are the only crowns worth holding.

No download. No account to start. Britain is already dealt.

What you're dealt into

A Britain that is half Malory, half bad joke.

It is the Arthurian world drawn crude and funny on purpose: every knight a lumpy face, every monster a daft one, all thick black outline and flat colour. Underneath the joke is a real game — a shared, persistent Albion where hundreds of players travel the same map, and the great characters are worth the trouble of finding.

Beat one of the legends and you tear its page from the deck. There is only ever one of each in the whole world — so the moment you hold it, everyone else can come hunting you for it.

The isle of Britain, lit gold, with a fan of cards laid across it.

How it plays

Four things it does that the rest don't.

♠

One clock, up to three lanes

Combat runs on a single count-up clock, not stiff turns — fast cards act more often. And a boss is a raid: walk onto a fight already underway and you join it, three of you swinging at the same foe on the same clock.

♦

Tear the page

The marquee legends carry a signature skill on a unique page. Beat one and it's yours — but a page is one-of-one across the entire world, so carrying it makes you a walking bounty. The deck always wants its cards back.

♣

One Britain, shared

Not a lobby — a single living map. Regions open by deed, the roads fill with real travellers, and the Dealer's Table is a rumour mill telling the whole server which crowns are on the move and who is holding them.

Blood & calling

Rise from Squire to Knight — and, for those who reach the right shore with the right hand, to the hidden callings of Avalon. Three bloods, each drawn as a different daft body, each dealt its own glyphs.

The cast

Legends, drawn without flattery.

Every face is exaggerated from the character's own story. Nobody is drawn to look good — that is the whole joke.
